The opening of the Twinsburg office has had few problems. They will continue to work in the office next week. IT has been able to secure the supplies that we need to maintain our operation and handle any breakdowns we might encounter.

As most of you are aware, we have been able to work from home with the permission of the states that restrict having collectors working from. We are starting to see signs that these permissions may be ending. We have no definitive dates at this point, but I wanted to keep everyone informed about what is going on.
We have looked at ways to get around the licensing issues and we have concluded that if these permissions are withdrawn, we must open the Brook Park office or risk our licenses, losing clients or both.

We’re sure everyone has seen that the governor is allowing business office to reopen on May 4th. It has been decided that JMC is not ready to re-open on May 4th. Once we have a plan in place, we’ll set a date for the re-opening of the offices. We’ll be working from home next week.
In preparation for the re-opening of the offices we’re having the offices sanitized in the next few days. This is the very first step in the re-opening process.
Thank you for your patience during these unprecedented times, and all the hard work that has gone into keeping JMC operating without the use of the offices.

Today we had a meeting today with the Covid-19 Committee and reviewed the following two subjects:
Issues and current problems with employees working from home.
We had the following issues this week:
· Somehow a phone in the Twinsburg office went dead keeping the employee from making calls. The phone was unplugged and plugged back in. This solved the issue, but it’s still a mystery on how it happened.
· Total Collect is crashing when some people try to look up documents attached to the account. IT is reviewing a possible solution and will get back to the team.
· The Return to Work plan is still being worked on and will be shared as soon as possible.
Should we continue to have employees work from home.
Based on all the information we have gather it is still too soon to return to the office, so we will be working from home next week.
Working from home has its own unique stresses that I’m sure everyone shares. Needs to be said that the pressures of working from home are real. It’s not all “Fun and Games”!
Thanks for all the efforts it’s taken to make this all work ……

Today we had a meeting today with the Covid-19 Committee and reviewed the following two subjects:
Issues and current problems with employees working from home.
The overall operation has had no major issues with the company’s hardware and software. There have been some technical issues with a few employees, but these have been resolved by the supervisors or the IT department.
Placements continue to be slower than normal, but fees while being lower have been consistent.
Should we continue to have employees work from home.
Once again this is an easy question to answer; yes, we’ll be working from home next. Over this last week there has been stories all over the news about when will things get back to even close to normal. Governor DeWine laid out his proposal yesterday, but it was still filled with a lot of “not sure when” or how it’ll all work statements.
I think people are doing their best, but at this point it’s all a lot of guessing. Bill and I have had several discussions about how we plan to open the offices up. We will be continuing this planning next week and hope to share our plans with you soon.
Thanks for all your work and stay safe in our April Winter Wonderland!!

Current Issues and Problems
Overall, we have very few technical issues. The network Total Collect, and all other systems are in good working order. We continue answering questions for clients and make adjustments for the regulatory bodies we are licensed.
All employees are working from home and we continue to monitor for any issues they are having. Ryan is trying to make sure we have all the technical equipment we need currently or in the near future.
This Coming Week
We will continue to work from home next week. Bill and I both know this arrangement is not ideal, but it is the only way to operate the business now and preserve the future for JMC. Everyone’s hard work and patience is making it possible to serve our clients and continue the operation.
As we finish our 3rd week working from home it becomes harder and harder to say “just hang in there it will get better” because it doesn’t feel like it will get any better. It is a time that all we can do is take it one day at a time and not look too far down the calendar.
Enjoy your weekend everyone!!

Today we had a meeting today with the Coronavirus Committee and reviewed the following two subjects:
Issues and current problems with employees working from home.
There have been very few problems with employees working from home this week. The problems we did have range from a few people having connection problems to an issue with one computer (which we have replaced).
While working from home isn’t ideal people have been staying focused and maintaining a consistent effort. Results will happen but might be slower coming than normal. So, don’t give up!!
Should we continue to have employees work from home.
The simple answer is “Yes” we will continue working from home next week. Like everyone else the best we can do is take all this day to day. If your having problems call your supervisor for help.
Thank you for all your efforts!!!!!

Today we had a meeting today with the Coronavirus Committee and reviewed the following two subjects:

We’re happy to say that JMC employees have adapted to these difficult circumstances rapidly and have brought work efforts nearly up to in-office efforts. Fees might not show that yet, but we know the efforts are happening.
Should we continue to have employees work from home.
With what is going on in the world it was an easy decision for the committee; yes, we will be working from home next week. The committee will be having a meeting every Friday to determine what we’ll be doing the next. If you have further questions, please talk to your supervisor.
Bill and I realize how hard this transition has been for all of you. We have been so impressed with the flexibility and effort from all of you.
Thank you!!!!

Over the last 24 hours we have been testing the collection process that would allow a collector to work from home. I’m happy to say it was a successful test, and we now have a functional process in place. The following are the steps we’ll be taking for “Brook Park Employees” over the next few days:
Brook Park Employees Only
· Effective Monday March 23rd collectors will be working from home. This change will be evaluated each Friday to determine if we need to continue to work form home the following week.
· If you plan on using a laptop to work from your home please bring it to the office tomorrow March 20th , and drop it off at the IT office. They will make the needed changes that will allow you to work from home.
· Tomorrow we will be holding training classes to cover what you need to know about working from home.
· Your supervisor will be giving you a document that covers work expectations while working from home.
· Please take your headset home so you can use it there. Do not forget it because you won’t be able to work without it.
Twinsburg Employees Only
· Please see your supervisors for the instructions you’ll need for the next week.
I realize this a stressful time for everyone, and we’re doing the best we can to provide a safe work environment for all our employees while we continue to service our clients.
Should you have any questions please see your supervisors.

The following are the current updates:
· We have notified our clients, as of today, of our current status.
· Key vendors have been notified of our status.
· Communication methods have been developed to keep all employees up to date on our plans.
· We will be testing working from home for collectors this coming Wednesday.
